This acclaimed Key West eatery is now home to the best breakfast on the island. Elevated classics served in an elegant setting. Please join us daily from 8am to 11am. My favorite is the Huevos Rancheros with a gorgeous flavor and wonderful presentation. The service is what we have come t expect from Cafe Marquesa - thoroughly hospitable. For a tranquil experience to start your day in paradise, visit Cafe Marquesa.

Steps off of Duval, on the calm and quiet shaded Simonton Street, Sarabeth's offers a solid variety of breakfast menu items that are simply delicious. The staff is a small family of Key West locals who serve with smiles every morning. The fluffiest pancakes, gorgeous benedicts, Key Lime Pie French Toast, and other classic morning plates and refined lunch options highlight the menu here. Definitely try a flavored mimosa or three! Tell Ann, Jonathan, Brad or Nico that I say hello!

I feel like I am escaping to a Mediterranean Oasis when I visit Azur. It is one of the locals' favorite spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Azure offers and elevated atmosphere and the chef executes a thoughtful menu that satisfies every time I visit. Gorgeous benedicts, hashes, classic breakfast, and sweets. One thing I tend to return to on the menu is the Carbonara. It is rich, but it has an egg on it so it counts as breakfast, right? Please say hi to my friends Chip, Wilson, Chef Chris, or the owner Drew! Give our regards.

Hot Tin Roof features bright vibrant colors indicative of the overall style of the Ocean Key Resort & Spa. It's a mélange of tastes and fragrances, combining traditional Florida foods with Latin, Caribbean and tropical influences. It's fun and fresh with a broad range of tastes and sensations. The restaurant features a relaxed elegance with dramatic water and sunset views. Make a reservation in advance. They put on a spectacular brunch on Sundays that books up quickly.

This neighborhood favorite is just next door to the Hemingway House on Whitehead Street. There is a pastry case at the entrance which emanates a siren song. It is nearly impossible to enjoy a meal at Moondog's without ordering one to eat as dessert or a few to take home! Favorites include the omelets, the Shakshuka baked egg dish, and the Elvis French Toast. Their burger is very good, and there are lots of healthy and vegetarian options here. Request Paul if he is working, he is a friend and a terrific waiter.

The name means little nibbles, but the flavor of what comes out of the kitchen is anything but. If you are able to make it past the pastry case and make your way to a table, the breakfast menu is full of healthy options and is French-centric. Healthy menu options abound, and beautifully crafted lattes and the like are staples in addition to the decadent bakery breads and sweets. Tell Dennis and Katie that Robi and Lucas say hello. Try the 12-hour honey cake..... You're welcome in advance.

Please enjoy Blue Heaven at least once. It is something special. You may even make lifelong friends with strangers over a stack of banana pancakes. Breathe and relax. It's about taking your time and letting go of stress while enjoying good food and company. Lobster Benedict, spicy bloodies. Chickens running around. Folk music and hippie Love. If there is a wait, bring a little cash and across the street they have Andy's Place to sit and have a mimosa and banana bread while you wait for them to text you.

For a simple diner breakfast head to Harpoon Harry's. Just off the waterfront by the Key West Bight Marina, this not-so-greasy spoon type venue is a delightful flamingo pink color with quirky accents and memorabilia adorning every inch. The staff are quick and friendly, and you can expect the typical diner fare but, in my opinion, served with a super clean presentation. They do have a package liquor store and are cash only with an ATM on site. They also serve lunch and dinner.

Traditional Breakfast Plates and Omelets, Simple and good Bloody Marys (pickled green beans yumm.....) This iconic key west spot is always sprinkled with long time regular locals and tourists. Sometimes you just want to be part of the crowd and start the day with a nice plate of humble food. Live music regularly for breakfast. When you're finished, you are smack dab in the middle of downtown to head off on your next adventure.

The Oldest Restaurant in Key West is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love the no frills breakfast. They do it right here with generous plates to start your day right! They get the bagels homemade everyday from Goldman's Deli here in town. And the atmosphere is totally Key West.

Serves a mix of classic Cuban style coffees, great sandwiches, and healthy (hangover curing) smoothies. Stop by their original location by the Key West Bight Marina (carry away) their Old Town spot down the alley off of Duval next to OnlyWood Pizza (sit down or carry away) or their newest spot in the Key West Mall by Mallory Square (sit down or carry away).

Bright and cheery inside this small family owned restaurant. The food is all made to order and I really love the quality of the ingredients that they use, it makes a difference. The coffee is remarkable, and they have all of the milk options. I love a coconut milk latte with their avocado toast.
They have a nice area that is AC to sit and enjoy or a couple of al fresco tables for a downtown vibe.

if you are staying at the Southernmost Resort or that end of Duval Street, Ana's is a great spot to go to get a quick breakfast. There is usually a line out the door but do not be worried about that, they keep it moving fast. Great breakfast wraps and sandwiches. Outdoor seating or carry away. There is a convenience store attached so you can grab anything else you need for the day as well. Simple Cuban bread egg sandwiches and Cuban coffees.

Hard to be a classic. Goldman's Deli has been delighting diners here in Key West for decades. The bagels are of course made on site, and they have all the offerings of a traditional American diner and Jewish deli combined. It is a local favorite located in the heart of New Town in the Overseas Market Plaza. Take some Ruggelah to go one the way out!!!

Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any of the aforementioned cookies. I have been waiting hopefully for them because I love cookies, especially the crispy kind.
